Dr. Benny Edwards
Dr. Benny Edwards grew up in the Ada area, attending Konawa High School and East Central University. He graduated from the Oklahoma University College of Dentistry in 1980 and started his dental practice in Ada that same year.
He and his wife Rita have been married since 1978 and live north of Ada on a farm called Tooth Acres. They have three grown children. Dr. Edwards’ dedication to continuing his dental education has enabled him and his dental team to stay “fired up” about dentistry and to stay on top of all of the changes in the industry.
Dr. Trey Edwards
Dr. Trey Edwards grew up in Ada, OK, and graduated from Ada High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from Baylor University and dental degree from the Oklahoma University College of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Trey was accepted into a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry where he completed comprehensive training in cosmetic procedures, dental implants, and surgical procedures.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Oklahoma Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Trey enjoys being active in the local community by serving on the Ada Chamber of Commerce Board and attending H2O Church. He and his wife, Lindsey, are self-proclaimed dental nerds who enjoy adventures with their boys when away from the office.
Dr. Sharolyn Burton
Dr. Sharolyn Burton grew up near Wetumka, OK on a cattle ranch and graduated from Butner High School. She attended East Central University to obtain her bachelor’s degree, followed by the Oklahoma University College of Dentistry where she graduated with distinction. She currently works full time in Newkirk, OK in public health and is excited to join the Ada Smile Place team part-time!
Dr. Burton is a member of the American Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and National Network of Oral Health Association. Dr. Burton and her husband, Josh, are active members of their church in their current home town of Ponca City, OK, where they enjoy serving by helping with the youth. Dr. Burton is happy to have the opportunity to travel to Ada monthly to provide care to her former community.
